Vendor & Contract Manager

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts from scope definition and commercial review through negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals and closure.
• Define supplier requirements, deliverables, service levels, milestones and acceptance criteria with program teams.
• Support Procurement-led sourcing, tenders, evaluations and recommendations with technical and commercial input.
• Manage vendor, consultant and service-provider relationships and resolve issues.
• Monitor contractual performance, service-level agreements and key performance indicators; coordinate reviews and corrective actions.
• Maintain vendor and contract records, key dates, obligations, renewal deadlines and supporting documentation.
• Monitor expenditure, validate invoices against deliverables and coordinate milestone payments.
• Identify and escalate contractual, commercial and supplier risks, including scope changes, delays, disputes and cost overruns.
• Apply procurement policies, contract templates and governance requirements; work with Shared Services on improvements.
• Use Oracle procurement and contract modules for records, workflows and management reports.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant contract management, vendor management or procurement experience, including commercial service agreements.
• Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts with legal and procurement stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers and contracts in a project-based or consulting environment.
• Practical experience with Oracle Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Management or Procurement Contracts modules.
• Working knowledge of UAE commercial and procurement practices.

• Translate project requirements into clear contractual deliverables, service levels and payment milestones.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills, commercial judgment and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, including contract tracking, spend analysis and management reporting.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
