Validation Engineering Intern

Responsibilities:

• Develop data acquisition suites to support characterization of R&D prototypes
• Develop new measurement analysis techniques and systems for checking device compliance to specification
• Create associated software and hardware for prototype measurements
• Design utilities to support IC verification and characterization and improve productivity
• Active member in product development teams
• This position is for a 16-month student Validation internship at Semtech Canada with the Signal Integrity Products Group (SIP) in our Burlington Design Centre.
• Minimum Qualifications: • Python programming • Hardware and software debug skills • Data acquisition experience and automation of R&D laboratory equipment • RF and high-speed digital (>10Gbps) measurement and debug skills • Familiarity with automated data collection and automation coding using Python • Knowledge of optical and high-speed test equipment • Excellent cross functional team and leadership skills • Good Communication and organizational skills • Team player • Customer biased focus • Highly motivated, goal driven, self-starter • Ability to start an internship in May 2027

• A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $26 - $28.5 CAD per/hr.
