Key Responsibilities
- Apply for and obtain utility service records for excavation works located within footways and highways.
- Review utility mapping information to identify underground assets and potential risks.
- Liaise with scheduling teams, supervisors, and subcontractors to communicate critical utility information and site constraints.
- Interpret and extract relevant information from mapping systems and utility providers.
- Create PDF utility mapping packs for each planned excavation.
- Upload mapping packs and supporting documentation to field devices to ensure site compliance requirements are met.
- Support the safe planning and execution of excavation activities in line with HSEQ standards and company procedures.
- Ensure all utility information is accurate, current, and available to operational teams before work commences.
Experience and Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical information.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Good organisational and workload management skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using utility mapping or street works systems is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of excavation, utility, or construction environments would be advantageous.
