Urgently Hiring: IT Security & Infrastructure Specialist (Part-Time)

We are looking for a hands-on IT Security & Infrastructure Specialist to assess and strengthen our internal IT environment. This role focuses on securing company devices, internal networks, and servers (on-premise and cloud), identifying practical risks, and providing actionable improvements.

This is a

technical, hands-on role

— not a compliance or audit-only position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and secure company endpoints (laptops, desktops, and internal devices)
• Review and improve Active Directory, user access control, and permissions
• Evaluate and enhance internal network security (LAN, VPN, firewall configurations)
• Review server configurations (Windows/Linux) and recommend hardening measures
• Identify vulnerabilities in internal systems, infrastructure, and network setup
• Review patch management and update processes across systems and devices
• Evaluate backup and disaster recovery processes
• Monitor potential security risks and recommend practical mitigation actions
• Provide a clear, actionable technical report with prioritized improvements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in System Administration, Infrastructure, and IT Security Operations.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory management.
• Proficiency in network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and fundamental routing.
• Proven track record with endpoint security and mobile device management (MDM).
• Comprehensive knowledge of both on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify real-world risks and implement practical technical solutions.
• Must be located in Dubai, and hold UAE ID.
