Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Cloud Specialist role based in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate joining requirement.
The Cloud Specialist will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of deployed applications and services.
Daily tasks include configuring cloud resources, monitoring system health, optimizing costs, and managing backups, disaster recovery, and access controls.
The role involves troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to support deployments and ongoing improvements.
The Cloud Specialist will document configurations, follow established change-management processes, and contribute to automation and standardization efforts across the cloud environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational Carpentry skills with the ability to interpret technical plans and apply them accurately in practical tasks.
- Hands-on experience using Power Tools and Hand Tools safely and efficiently in a professional environment.
- Proficiency in Framing techniques, including precise measuring, cutting, and assembling structural elements.
- Experience with Finish Carpentry, demonstrating attention to detail and quality in final installations and fittings.
- Relevant technical degree, diploma, or industry-recognized certifications in cloud technologies or infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar) are highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, on-site teams in Abu Dhabi.
- Willingness to adhere to safety, security, and organizational policies, and to participate in ongoing training and upskilling.
- Immediate Joiner required.
