Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Build, extend, and refactor user-facing features in React and TypeScript applications.
• Create reusable components and shared frontend patterns; improve component quality, consistency, accessibility, and usability.
• Work in a monorepo and contribute to shared packages used by multiple applications.
• Integrate features with backend services through GraphQL/Apollo patterns and REST APIs where needed.
• Translate UX and product requirements into production-ready UI implementations; improve existing code without regressions.
• Collaborate with backend developers, product owners, and designers; help establish conventions for reuse, state flow, API integration, and maintainability.
• Support performance, responsiveness, cross-browser behavior, and frontend reliability.

Required experience and skills

• 10+ years of frontend engineering experience, including depth in modern UI development and spec-driven development using AI tools.
• Strong hands-on production experience with React and TypeScript; experience writing testable code with automated testing.
• Experience working in established codebases, reusable component architecture, and design-system-oriented development.
• Experience building shared component libraries or contributing to common UI packages.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frontend patterns.
• Experience with React state management and API integration, including REST and GraphQL.
• Ability to understand existing code, trace flows, debug issues, and make safe changes.
• Familiarity with monorepo workflows; strong attention to code quality, typing, maintainability, and developer ergonomics.
• Experience with code reviews and mentoring other frontend developers.

Preferred skills

• Preferred: Apollo Client or GraphQL-heavy frontend applications; Redux or similar state management; Turborepo, pnpm, or multi-package workspaces.
• Preferred: reusable internal UI kits, frontend build tooling, or package-based architecture.
• Preferred: Vitest, Cypress, or Testing Library; accessibility and enterprise-grade UI requirements; Tailwind or utility-first styling.
• Preferred: B2B, enterprise, or workflow-heavy frontend applications.
