[UAE] AI Solution Architect

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data and AI architecture, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, model serving, generative AI, and agent-based systems.
• Design agent orchestration and the model layer, including selection and use of open-weight models.
• Define application modernization paths that embed AI into client systems and processes.
• Advise senior clients and align designs with business goals, security policies, and applicable regulations.
• Lead client workshops and present architecture options to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical governance; provide hands-on guidance to unblock delivery teams.
• Design for production scalability, reliability, observability, and cost.
• Support scoping, proposals, effort estimates, and project-pipeline conversion.
• Apply AI compliance and responsible AI practices; mentor junior colleagues and contribute to internal IP and reference architectures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 8+ years in solution or cloud architecture, or senior engineering with significant design ownership.
• Deep multi-cloud expertise across networking, security, compute, storage, and managed AI/ML services; relevant platforms include AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and/or Databricks.
• Experience designing agent orchestration and model layers, including open-weight models.
• Knowledge of classical machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, autonomous agents, and data engineering.
• Experience taking AI solutions from proof of concept to production.
• Ability to engage senior clients, lead workshops, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with AI compliance and responsible AI; sound architectural judgment under uncertainty.
• Professional proficiency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
• Must be based in the UAE, in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Professional-level cloud or Databricks certifications are highly preferred.
