**Salary:** AED 15,000 – 18,000 (Based on experience and qualifications)
**Working Hours:** Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Summary
We seeking an experienced **Trust Lawyer** to support its Trust Division and ensure legal, regulatory, and compliance excellence across trust structures and fiduciary services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust law, corporate law, or financial services law, combined with excellent legal drafting, compliance, and advisory capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and maintain Trust Deeds and trust-related legal documentation
- Develop and update legal templates, precedents, and documentation for the Trust Division
- Provide legal advice on trust structures, fiduciary arrangements, and trust products
- Ensure compliance with UAE AML/CFT regulations and applicable Free Zone requirements
- Oversee Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), sanctions screening, and compliance procedures
- Support and manage goAML reporting and related regulatory obligations
- Conduct internal compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and risk assessments
- Assist with the preparation and review of trust accounts, policies, and regulatory manuals
- Deliver internal training on trust law, trust products, and compliance matters
- Support the development of new trust products and services
- Stay informed of international trust, wealth management, and tax developments relevant to the business
- Liaise with regulators, advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders when required
Requirements
- Degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent)
- **Background in Trust Law, Corporate Law, Private Client, Wealth Management, or Financial Services Law**
- Strong knowledge of UAE AML/CFT regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience working within trust companies, fiduciary services, financial institutions, law firms, or related sectors
- Experience with goAML, CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, and compliance frameworks is highly advantageous
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and advisory skills
- Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Professional communication and stakeholder management skills
