About the role
The Treasury Operations Specialist is responsible for managing Letters of Guarantee (LGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and overall trade finance activities , ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of bank instruments. This role acts as a key interface between banking partners and internal project and procurement teams to support day-to-day project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage LGs (bid bonds, performance bonds, APGs, retention)
- Handle LG amendments, extensions, and cancellations
- Process LC applications, amendments, and settlements
- Maintain LG & LC registers and monitor expiry dates
- Coordinate with banks, procurement, legal, and project teams
- Track fees, commitments, and facility utilization
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and bank requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade finance / treasury operations
- Strong knowledge of LGs, LCs, UCP 600, URDG 758
- Hands-on experience in the Saudi banking environment
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred
- Fluent in Arabic & English
