Job Purpose

The Treasury Officer is responsible for preparing bank-related documents and communications for all group companies covering treasury and banking transactions in an effective and timely manner, in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures.

This role will support the Head of Treasury in managing and completing the banking matters.

Accountabilities

1.

Fulfill and meet all the expected deliverables of the role.

2.

Treat all customers, peers, and colleagues with integrity and collaboration to ensure driving a high-performance culture.

3.

Model the core values, develop, and enhance the use of the BCO Universal Competencies adhering to the lead-by Example competencies.

4.

Comply with all HR & Binzagr Company policies and procedures.

5.

Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements.

6.

Overall accountability for the performance of the Finance and Accounting department.

Tasks and duties include:

1.

Responsible for uploading bank statements daily in SAP and communicating with internal teams to confirm the collections.

2.

Responsible for clearing the collection against customer accounts and loan transactions recording.

3.

Responsible for coordinating with Sales team and branches for their point-of-sale matters i.e. issuing new SPOS, replacing SPOS, Coordination with SFA team, follow-up with banks for dropped transactions.

4.

Responsible for preparing cashier authorizations required by the branches.

5.

Responsible for communicating with banks for cash deposit machine matters required by the branches.

6.

Responsible for online fund initiations and bank statements for monthly reconciliations.

7.

Responsible for delivering bank documents in the absence of bank messenger.

8.

Responsible for supporting the treasury team leads for banking matters and will be a backup in absence.

Any other responsibility assigned by the line manager in future related to Treasury Area.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of finance and treasury.
  • University bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting.
