Role Overview
The Treasury Analyst performs treasury and accounting duties under the general guidance of the Treasury Manager.
The role supports enterprise-wide cash management, forecasting, online banking, reporting, investing, and financing activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform cash management, forecasting, online banking, and general banking activities.
- Analyze and consolidate treasury and accounting reports for investing and financing activities.
- Coordinate vendor payment changes from cheques to electronic funds transfers or wire transfers.
- Prepare audit schedules for interim and year-end requirements.
- Respond to internal and external auditor inquiries.
- Prepare financial reports and participate in Treasury special projects.
Qualifications
- Completion of a university degree.
- CPA or another related finance or accounting designation.
- Up to two years of treasury or related experience.
- Experience using computerized software in a large organization.
- Experience with cash management, debt management, forecasting, analysis, reporting, and general banking functions.
- An additional year is required to learn TransLink treasury management programs, policies, and procedures.
Work Schedule
- The position is full-time temporary with an estimated end date of December 31, 2027.
- The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week.
Work Designation
- The position is hybrid and offers flexibility to work on-site and remotely within British Columbia.
Rate of Pay
- Salary is $6,918 to $8,309 per month, with the actual offer based on education, experience, and internal parity.
