Treasury Accountant

Role overview

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of Treasury or Finance experience.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and a good understanding of treasury, cash management, and banking operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions across multiple banks and perform bank reconciliations.
• Track bank facilities, including loans, letters of credit, and letters of guarantee.
• Review collections and reconcile daily branch deposits.
• Prepare payment schedules and rolling weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze forecast cash flow against actual results and identify variances.
• Coordinate with AR, AP, and FP&A teams on cash flow and working capital management.
• Monitor collections and ensure accurate ERP posting.
• Manage credit, fleet, and property insurance, including renewals, negotiations, and claims.
• Identify financial and operational risks and maintain the risk register.
• Prepare reports on cash position, cash flow, collections, bank facility usage, insurance, and risk management.
