Requirements

  • Education / Experience: • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum 3–5 years of facilities or maintenance experience in student housing, multifamily, hospitality, or similar environments. • Regional or multi-site maintenance experience strongly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting multiple properties and teams.
  • EPA III and above type certification
  • Language Ability: • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. • Ability to communicate effectively with on-site teams and leadership. • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Math Ability: • Ability to calculate percentages, measurements, and basic financial figures. • Ability to take and interpret dimensional measurements. • Ability to use and interpret diagnostic tools including, but not limited to:
  • Multimeter
  • Temperature sensors
  • Moisture meters
  • Pressure gauges and HVAC manifold gauges
  • Water quality testing kits
  • Mold and lead testing kits
  • Reasoning Ability: • Ability to solve practical problems in environments with limited standardization. • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing drawings. • Ability to act with discretion and authority in health and safety matters.
  • Computer Skills: • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Entrata or equivalent property management systems. • App-based preventative maintenance, inspection, and asset tracking platforms.
