Oversee daily transportation operations, fleet coordination, and delivery activities across the UAE.
The employer seeks an experienced supervisor with strong UAE route knowledge, transportation planning, and driver supervision experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise fleet operations, plan and optimize routes, and assign vehicles and drivers to delivery schedules.
- Monitor vehicle movements, delivery progress, and driver performance; coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, sales, and operations.
- Arrange preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs; maintain vehicle registration, insurance, and transport records.
- Resolve delays, breakdowns, route changes, and other transport issues; monitor fuel, vehicle utilization, and costs.
- Ensure regulatory and safety compliance and prepare daily and periodic reports.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transportation, fleet management, or logistics supervision.
- Strong knowledge of UAE routes and delivery operations; proven driver supervision, fleet coordination, and delivery scheduling experience.
- Building materials transportation, construction materials distribution, or similar industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle documentation, maintenance scheduling, and transport records.
- Strong communication, coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deliveries and priorities; proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 3,000–5,000 per month.
