Translator (Mandarin to English)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails, contracts, reports, and other materials from Mandarin to English.
• Interpret verbal conversations, meetings, and business discussions when required.
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally appropriate, and grammatically correct.
• Review and proofread translated content before submission.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify terminology and context.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in both **Mandarin Chinese and English**.
• Proven experience in translation and/or interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and translation tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating business, legal, real estate, technical, or commercial documents.
• Professional translation certification is an advantage.
• Experience in a corporate or international business environment.
