Role overview

The employer is seeking a Transaction Banking IT Project Manager for its Qatar operations.

The role manages banking technology and digital transformation projects involving transaction-banking platforms and corporate banking systems.

Experience and qualifications

  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in banking technology project management.
  • Strong transaction-banking and digital-banking exposure, including transaction-banking products, channels, and operational processes.
  • Experience with platforms including OBDX and related corporate banking systems; strong Business Analyst knowledge.
  • PMP-certified project manager with knowledge of governance, planning, budgeting, risk and issue management, change control, and senior stakeholder reporting.
  • Experience with migration strategy, planning, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
  • Understanding of system integration, stakeholder coordination, and vendor management within banking environments.
  • Prior experience managing large-scale banking implementation or migration projects is preferred.

  • Lead legacy-system migration to new digital platforms, including planning, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
  • Coordinate business, technology, operations, compliance, and vendor teams and manage system integration.
  • Oversee project governance, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and change control; report to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live support to deliver within scope and aligned with business objectives.
