Role Overview
Trainee role in logistics focused on learning activities, team support, and active contribution.
Reports to direct manager and team colleagues; communicates with Business Unit VP, HR Business partner, and EVP.
Learning Activities
- Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
- Gaining knowledge of company policies and processes.
- Completing all necessary assessments as guided and required.
- Fulfilling requirements and meeting goals set at the start of the training.
- Maintaining communication with supervisors and attending periodic evaluations.
Team Support Activities
- Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
- Taking detailed notes and liaising with managers, supervisors, and senior staff.
- Researching and assisting in identifying areas for service or process improvements.
- Providing administrative support such as printing and setting up materials and rooms.
Active Contribution Activities
- Preparing requested documents and materials and updating records.
- Completing assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
- Writing and presenting regular updates to management.
- Completing fieldwork or visiting different work sites when required.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with employees.
- Performing all other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- No professional experience required.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent Arabic and English in speaking and writing.
Health, Safety and Environment
Accountable for own acts and omissions.
Follow agreed safe systems of work, training, and instructions.
Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Authority to stop work if the work is unsafe.
