Job Description
-Independently originate, negotiate, and execute physical trades across ferrous raw materials from pricing strategies, contract structuring, to margin optimization
-Analyze global supply-demand dynamics, freight trends, pricing indices, and geopolitical impacts to identify arbitrage opportunities
-Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, shipping, finance, insurance, and back-office teams to ensure seamless contract execution and documentation.
-Monitor counterparty risk, credit exposure, and contractual obligations within trade regulations.
Qualifications
-Minimum 5+ years of hands-on trading experience in iron ore, scrap, HBI/DRI, DR pellets, and metallurgical coke
-Strong global network of suppliers and buyers, with the ability to originate trades independently and manage P&L
-Proven leadership skills with experience guiding teams in multicultural, cross-border environments
-Solid knowledge of trade finance, Incoterms, and shipping logistics
