About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Trade Executive with a strong background in petroleum and oil trading to support the company's commercial growth and trading operations.
The ideal candidate will possess industry knowledge, strong market intelligence, supplier/customer relationship management skills, and experience in petroleum product trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, traders, brokers, and end customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer portfolio.
- Execute and support trading activities for petroleum and energy products.
- Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and trading agreements.
- Coordinate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Manage inquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and sales contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.
- Prepare market reports, trade analyses, and business forecasts.
- Support revenue growth and profitability targets.
- Must haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Petroleum Studies, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petroleum Trading, Energy Trading, Bunker Fuels, Base Oils, Lubricants, Bitumen, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of international trade, commodity markets, and supply chain operations.
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, sales, or trading of petroleum products.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Commercially driven with excellent analytical abilities.
- Emirates/GCC market exposure will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Preferred Background
Candidates currently working with petroleum trading companies, refineries, energy trading houses, bunker fuel suppliers, oil marketing companies, or commodity trading firms will be highly preferred.
