The Global Trade Compliance team works across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC with Husky's Legal department.
The Program Manager leads enterprise-wide trade compliance initiatives, global projects, process optimization, and integration of compliance requirements into systems.
Program management
- Lead global compliance initiatives, including process optimization, technology integration, and system enhancements.
- Implement trade compliance modules in the ERP system.
- Set project governance, milestones, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Coordinate global stakeholders and consistent deployment of compliance practices.
Regulatory compliance and controls
- Track international trade laws, import regulations and tariffs, export controls, and sanctions.
- Translate regulations into business processes and internal controls.
- Partner with Engineering and Legal on export controls and export authorization processes.
- Monitor procedures and implement corrective actions.
Classification, risk, and improvement
- Standardize product classification, export control, HTS, and country-of-origin processes.
- Maintain end-use and end-user certifications, license applications, and transaction due diligence processes.
- Maintain accurate trade data, documentation, and system configurations.
- Conduct global risk assessments and audits, develop mitigation strategies, and improve compliance monitoring through digital tools and automation.
Global collaboration
- Work with Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, Finance, Sales, and Legal teams across global regions.
Requirements
- Maintain current knowledge of international trade laws, import regulations and tariffs, export controls, and sanctions applicable to the business.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into business processes and internal controls.
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, Finance, Sales, and Legal stakeholders.
