Role Purpose
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding national infrastructure by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to emerging cyber threats.
You will work within the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team to deliver actionable intelligence, strengthen detection capabilities, and support incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor external and internal threat environments to identify emerging risks.
- Collect, analyze, and correlate indicators of compromise (IOCs), adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Produce intelligence reports, briefings, and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Develop and tune SIEM correlation rules and detection use cases.
- Support incident response teams with contextual threat intelligence.
- Integrate threat intelligence feeds into SOC platforms (SIEM, SOAR, TIP).
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and OSINT investigations.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NESA, PCI‑DSS)
Education Requirements
- **Bachelor’s degree**
- in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science
• Engineering (Computer, Electronics, Communications)
- Information Technology
- Preferred postgraduate qualifications
- : Master’s in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Risk Management (advantage but not mandatory).
- **Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):**
• CISSP, GCTI, GCFA, GNFA, CEH, OSCP
- SIEM/EDR vendor certifications (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender)
- MITRE ATT&CK, Threat Hunting, or TIP platform training
