Senior Security Analyst
About This Role
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for an oil and energy client based in Dubai, UAE. The primary function of this role is to monitor the IT/OT environment on a 24/7 basis and perform advanced analysis of events to detect cyber security threats and attacks.
The role involves conducting in-depth incident investigations, including malware analysis, digital forensics, and threat hunting, while applying established response procedures and escalating critical incidents to senior leadership as required. The analyst collaborates closely with security teams to identify emerging threats, improve detection capabilities, and enhance security controls, including developing SIEM use cases and correlation rules. Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, incident classification, reporting and metrics development, and supporting audit and compliance activities. The position requires proactive research into evolving threats, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and continuous improvement of security processes and technologies.
Required Qualification;
- Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business field or equivalent
- Required professional certifications: Professional certificate such as CISSP, GCTI , GCFA, GNFA
- 7+ years of Information security or technology experience.
- Working experience in cyber security threats monitoring and handling
- Exposer to OT security operation center experience will be a pulse
