The Vertiv Server Liquid Systems team is seeking a
***Test Engineer***
to perform verification and validation of our data center liquid cooling infrastructure, controllers and thermal test vehicles.
Work will include test planning, creation of test cases, and test execution.
A successful candidate will have experience in any of the following areas: UI testing, test automation development, system product test, requirements review, and/or test planning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other engineering groups and product leads to ensure hardware and software solutions meet product requirements.
- Create product test plans and test-cases from product requirements.
- Direct and execute test plans with support of engineering technicians.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug test hardware, software and product interactions.
- Develop software to automate test tasks.
- Develop test network environments for devices under test.
- Document technical issues and solutions.
- Suggest fixes and improvements.
- Report activities, project status, and plans to team lead and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years' related experience
- Familiarity with various testing techniques
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Experience with defect tracking systems
- Experience with a test case management
- Experience with developing test automation a plus
- Experience developing Python a plus.
- Up to 10% Travel possible
