Job Description

Duties

• Include, but are not limited to, physical inspection and functional inspection of electrical components, the operation of test bays/stations and associated equipment and troubleshooting and/or repairing faulty components.
• Position must assess product evaluation against NEC and UL/CSA standards.
• Review order write ups, operate components, ensure product quality, work with other areas to ensure product quality, and verify units to meet agency approvals.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Uses basic hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, air tools, pliers, wire stripper, torque tools, crimping tools
• Uses multi-meters
• Used hypot-tester
• Uses leak check equipment
• Uses computer
• Uses refrigeration manifold gauges
