Territory Systems Advisor

Perform the sales activities in a defined geographic area or market segment.

The Regional Systems Advisor will be responsible for assisting the Regional Manager with driving sales growth within region, through strategic planning, customer engagement, on - site visits, product demonstrations, quotation development, and coordination with internal teams. It requires strong relationship - building, territory management, competitive awareness, and consistent communication with the Regional Sales Manager.

· Assist the Regional Manager in developing long and short-range sales strategies, forecasts, budgets, and goals for the assigned territory

· Execute strategic customer/potential customer contact via telephone, written communications and personal visits requiring travel to customer sites via automobile (personal/rental) or air travel that align with regional needs

· Schedule and coordinate demonstrations for machinery at existing client locations, coordination of demonstrations in conjunction with Applications Manager for demos at Technical Center locations in alignment with the Regional Manager

· Request, prepare and print budgetary quotations for potential clients

· Develop and nourish local customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and lead generation

· Plan and carry out field travel efficiently for geographically grouped customer/prospect visits

· Prepare visit reports for Regional Sales Manager

· Participate in study tours, open houses, industry trade shows and related association functions

· Collect and share competitive information

· Communicate with Installation and customer service department to ensure continuity from point of sale to customer satisfaction

· Assist Regional Sales Manager with advertising promotions

· Maintain customer database for assigned sales territory

· Minimum two years of related sales or application experience, preferably in the area of capital equipment sales.

Ability to travel to customers via auto or air.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Strong understanding of metals and the metal manufacturing process.

· Applications, PC and CNC knowledge

· CRM database experience preferred (ACT or equivalent).

· Must be able to travel up to approximately 50% of the time, rent cars and have a clean driving record.
