About This Role
We are seeking a Terminal Operator responsible for handling loading and discharge operations of oil tankers , monitoring tank inventory, performing tank gauging , and ensuring the safe transfer of diesel and gasoil products. The operator will also support flow meter maintenance, stock monitoring.
The role requires experience in diesel storage terminals, bunkering operations, and fuel handling procedures .
Key Responsibilities
Terminal Operations
- Supervise and perform loading and discharge of oil tankers .
- Coordinate safe transfer of diesel and gasoil products .
- Ensure compliance with terminal safety procedures and operational protocols .
Tank & Inventory Management
- Perform tank gauging and tank measurement .
- Monitor and record daily stock levels of diesel and gasoil .
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock reconciliation records .
Flow Meter & Equipment
- Operate and troubleshoot flow meters and transfer equipment .
- Assist in calibration, maintenance, and minor repairs of flow meters and pumps.
- Experience in Weighbridge.
Product Quality Control
- Monitor fuel quality during storage and transfer operations .
- Ensure products meet required specifications and operational standards .
Blending Operations
- Assist with diesel and gasoil blending operations for marine supply .
- Ensure proper blending procedures are followed according to operational guidelines.
Bunkering Operations
- Support bunkering operations for vessels when required .
- Coordinate with marine and terminal teams during bunker deliveries.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in oil terminal operations or bunkering .
- Experience in tank gauging, oil transfer operations, and flow meter handling .
- Knowledge of diesel, gasoil handling, and blending procedures .
- Familiarity with terminal safety standards and fuel handling regulations .
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records and operational reports .
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in fuel storage terminals or bunkering companies .
- Knowledge of petroleum measurement standards .
- Basic mechanical knowledge for terminal equipment troubleshooting .
