Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Schedule Varies
- Oversee and coordinate daily terminal and transportation operations
- Dispatch drivers and manage delivery schedules and freight movement
- Build strong working relationships with drivers while addressing operational concerns and support needs
- Monitor and manage Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to optimize routing and ensure on-time deliveries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding route changes, operational updates, and safety concerns
- Conduct regular safety and compliance meetings to reinforce company policies and DOT regulations
- Support customer service efforts by resolving shipping and delivery issues
- Maintain accurate records related to shipments, driver schedules, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate fleet maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment remains safe and operational
- Communicate operational updates, challenges, and improvement opportunities with leadership
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations
- Support additional operational projects and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards
- Experience with dispatching, routing, and fleet management preferred
- CDL preferred, but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and support team members
- Ability to work collaboratively with drivers, operations staff, and external partners
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to operational efficiency and compliance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced transportation environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or terminal operations required
- Sitting / Standing: Continuous
- Talking, hearing, and seeing: Continuous
- Lifting up to 25 lbs: Occasional
