Tempering Process Technician

Candidate Requirements:

• · High school diploma or GED; or one-year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• · Demonstrates scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.
• · Demonstrates the ability to lead and motivate others.
• · Basic computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, and ability to sort and present data in graphical form.
• · Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• · Good mechanical knowledge to be able to effectively interface with engineering/maintenance team.
• · Experience with different software systems (MES, ERP, etc) and ability to diagnose and correct day-to-day issues.
• · Self-directed individual who can keep themselves productive throughout the workday with limited direction from a supervisor.
• · Must be able to read, understand, and operate all types of measuring devices.
• · Experience setting up and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
