Inpatient Program Objectives
Diagnose and manage complex bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections
Reduce unnecessary patient transfers while increasing hospital census
Support both on-site and remote providers in handling high-complexity cases
Outpatient Program Objectives
Provide expert evaluation and longitudinal care for outpatient ID cases
Collaborate with on-site teams to manage chronic infections and treatment follow-up
Ensure timely consultations and reduce unnecessary hospital visits
Opportunity Overview
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Flexible Schedule Options: Inpatient Daytime only, 7a–5p in the local time zone, Monday–Sunday Minimum of 12 shifts/month (two Mon–Fri blocks + 1 weekend) Or 4 shifts/month (weekends only) Outpatient Shifts available Monday–Friday, 8a–12p and/or 1p–5p (time zone flexible) Shift volume varies by clinic; most contracts require at least 5 shifts/month Options include 4-hour shifts or full-day blocks depending on site need

Minimum Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Completion of an Infectious Disease Fellowship
- Minimum 1 year of post-training clinical experience
