Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Telecalling Receptionist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Telecalling Receptionist will handle inbound and outbound calls, greet and assist patients in person, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, collecting and updating contact details, and coordinating with dentists and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role also involves providing information on services, answering general inquiries, handling basic billing or payment follow-ups, and directing calls or visitors to the appropriate team members.

The Telecalling Receptionist will help maintain the reception area, follow clinic protocols, and support an excellent patient experience at every touchpoint.

Qualifications

  • Strong telephone handling skills, including clear and professional communication, active listening, and courteous call management.
  • Reception and front-desk experience, including greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out, and handling routine inquiries.
  • Appointment scheduling and coordination skills, with the ability to manage calendars, confirm bookings, and minimize wait times.
  • Basic administrative and computer skills, including data entry, use of clinic or practice management software, and email communication.
  • Customer service mindset with a patient-centered approach, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in busy or stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in the region is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a dental or medical clinic is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn clinic procedures and terminology is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in administration, healthcare, or customer service is a plus.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, professional team environment.**
