Role Description
We are seeking a Tech Specialist / Engineer to join our Technology team in Abu Dhabi.
Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will support the operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Zero Two's technology platforms, data systems, and infrastructure environments.
This role will play a key part in maintaining platform visibility, ensuring data integrity, supporting cybersecurity initiatives, coordinating with technology vendors, and contributing to the development of future AI and data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor platform performance, uptime, incidents, and operational dashboards across live and legacy environments
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems
- Maintain data quality, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.
- Assist with cloud platforms, operational tooling, and technology stack administration
- Coordinate with technology vendors and track service delivery, incidents, and change requests
- Support cybersecurity activities, including access management, vulnerability monitoring, and incident response
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, playbooks, system configurations, and asset registers
- Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives, technology trials, and innovation research
- Monitor industry trends in AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and data center technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in platform monitoring, data engineering, IT operations, infrastructure support, or a similar technical role
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar platforms is an advantage
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, SQL, or Bash
- Understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL processes, data modelling, and data quality management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including access management, vulnerability management, and incident response
- Experience with collaboration and ticketing tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow is preferred
- Relevant certifications in cloud, networking, Linux, or cybersecurity are an advantage
