Role Overview
The Technician supports security and maintenance systems through planned work, fault rectification, upgrades, reporting, and documentation.
The role requires compliance with GCAA requirements and integrated management system procedures.
Projects and System Services
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time according to project timelines and defined roles.
- Perform system maintenance and fault rectification according to standards and recommended practices.
- Carry out system and technology upgrades according to established guidelines.
- Communicate maintenance and fault-related issues with relevant parties to support resolution.
Records and Reporting
- Record and document system outage rectification and maintenance activities for future reference.
- Prepare functional reports accurately and on time in accordance with GCAA requirements and quality standards.
Compliance
- Follow health, safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls to support employee safety, legal compliance, service quality, and environmental responsibility.
Knowledge and Experience
- A degree in a relevant technical discipline, diploma in a relevant technical discipline, or recognized apprenticeship is required.
- Additional tasks relevant to the role or area of expertise may be assigned by management.
