Role overview

Technical responsibilities

• Maintain and repair refrigerant systems, compressors, condensing units, condensers, cabinets, racks, cold rooms, and ice machines.
• Program and troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and remote refrigeration monitoring systems.
• Follow layout drawings to install piping and refrigeration equipment.
• Braze defective joints, repair leaks, test system operation, adjust valves, and charge systems with refrigerant.
• Estimate, order, collect, and install materials and supplies for maintenance work.
• Prepare accurate records of repairs, replacements, and causes of malfunctions.

Requirements

• Requires 5–7 years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Requires strong knowledge of supermarket refrigeration systems, including parallel rack systems, display cases, and plug-ins.
• Requires proficiency with refrigeration control and diagnostic systems such as Emerson E2, Danfoss, and Carel.
• A valid UAE driving licence is required.
• Must be willing to work on-call and respond to emergency service calls outside regular hours.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in cold environments.
