Location and travel
- Based in the UAE, with customer-site travel across Dubai, Sharjah, the Northern Emirates, and the GCC.
- Occasional travel abroad for supplier training is expected.
Key responsibilities
- Install and commission jewellery machinery.
- Diagnose and repair machinery and electronic faults; perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Train customers on machine operation and troubleshoot circuit boards and electronic components.
- Read circuit diagrams and wiring schematics; use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and support with international suppliers' technical teams.
Equipment
- Equipment includes CNC machines, 3D printers, casting machines, induction melting furnaces, laser welding and marking machines, rolling mills, polishing and cleaning machines, electroplating rectifiers, and ultrasonic cleaners.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience servicing industrial machinery.
- Hands-on circuit-board repair and fine SMD soldering experience.
- Knowledge of power electronics, rectifiers, power supplies, and induction heating systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, controllers, touchscreens, and stepper or servo drives.
- Jewellery machinery experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- UAE driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally abroad for supplier training.
