  • Lead technical on-site supplier assessments, establish action plans, and track supplier execution.
  • Manage supplier process changes without disrupting product quality or project timelines.
  • Analyze supplier inspection data and assess manufacturing process capability using statistical analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 10 years of experience, or a Master’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of experience.
  • Hands-on technical project management or supplier quality experience.
  • Very good knowledge of French is required in this French-speaking work environment.
  • Experience with supplier inspection data, component quality deviations, and vendor process changes.
  • Technical knowledge of manufacturing, casting, and machining; practical experience with 3D inspection software such as PolyWorks or GOM.
  • Experience identifying technical cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining part quality.
  • Strong organizational, decision-influencing, management, and leadership skills.

Workplace and schedule

  • The description identifies the role as exclusively on-site, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.
  • The posting lists a Mississauga worksite in its location details but later states the position is based at the Longueuil location.
