Role overview

Programme planning and delivery

• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, quality and dependencies across workstreams.
• Maintain an integrated plan across facilities, cabling and infrastructure teams; track milestones, contractor commitments and dependencies.
• Support programme planning, budget monitoring and resource allocation.
• Maintain programme documentation, performance metrics and status reports.

Passive infrastructure and data centre delivery

• Oversee structured cabling, containment, cable pathways and passive network infrastructure against approved designs and specifications.
• Monitor installation quality, testing documentation and outstanding works; coordinate dependencies with facilities readiness and active infrastructure.
• Coordinate data centre power, cooling, racks and fit-out in line with applicable standards and agreed Tier objectives.
• Track site readiness, resolve issues affecting installation, testing and handover, and align delivered infrastructure with target architecture and operational requirements.

Governance and coordination

• Maintain RAID records and report progress, budget performance, risks and decisions to programme leadership.
• Escalate material issues with mitigation actions and accountable owners; coordinate corrective actions and maintain acceptance and handover records.
• Coordinate facilities vendors, cabling contractors and infrastructure teams; facilitate delivery reviews and communicate technical constraints.
• Collaborate with the central design authority to align design and implementation.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Construction Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar programme management or technical delivery role.
• Proven programme or project management experience, including planning, budgeting, resource coordination and governance.
• Working knowledge of structured cabling, containment and passive network infrastructure.
• Understanding of data centre power, cooling, racks, fit-out, applicable standards and Tier objectives.
• Experience coordinating facilities vendors, contractors and infrastructure teams; managing site readiness, quality and technical issues.
• Experience maintaining RAID logs, programme documentation and status reporting.
• Strong stakeholder communication and structured problem-solving skills; professional proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications and experience

• Direct data centre build, construction or fit-out experience; passive infrastructure deployment in a large campus or enterprise environment; or greenfield transformation programme experience with multiple vendors and contractors.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or MSP certification, an advanced degree in a relevant discipline, and Arabic proficiency are preferred.
