Lead electronic hardware programs across concept, design, validation, NPI, and volume manufacturing.
The role spans customer-facing program leadership and coordination across engineering and manufacturing organizations.
Responsibilities
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate hardware engineering, NPI, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing.
- Manage risks and engineering changes; oversee validation, compliance, reliability, design transfer, and production readiness.
- Track program KPIs and prepare executive reviews, customer communications, status reports, and decision packages.
Qualifications and experience
- B.E./B.Tech in a listed engineering discipline or related field.
- 15+ years in hardware engineering, technical program management, product development, NPI, or EMS manufacturing.
- Experience delivering complex electronic hardware from design through mass production and managing global customer programs.
- Strong EMS, PCBA, system integration, testing, assembly, manufacturing, DFM, validation, reliability, and change-control knowledge.
Tools and methods
- Knowledge of BOM management, PLM, ERP, configuration management, risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and program governance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
