Role Overview
The Product Owner will shape and deliver digital products with a particular focus on AI-assisted solutions.
The role works with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and subject matter experts to turn business needs into product requirements and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and communicate product vision, roadmaps, and priorities.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Translate business and technical requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead backlog refinement and contribute to sprint planning.
- Use Claude and Claude Code to support discovery, requirements, and documentation with review and validation.
- Evaluate solutions across usability, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Own product requirements and documentation from concept through go-live.
- Use data, user feedback, and performance insights to prioritize improvements.
- Manage multiple initiatives and communicate priorities, progress, and releases.
- Identify opportunities related to AI and large language model capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5 or more years of experience in product ownership, technical business analysis, business analysis, or a similar product-focused technology role.
- Strong backlog, user story, requirements, and full software development lifecycle experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Technical understanding of web and mobile applications, APIs, integrations, databases, and system dependencies.
- Ability to create clear, actionable requirements for engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management across business, product, and technology teams.
- Experience using data and product insights for prioritization and product decisions.
Advantageous Experience
- Experience in trading, fintech, financial services, AI-enabled products, or large language models would be advantageous.
