The Role

What You Will Do

• Shape the product roadmap with leadership and regulatory subject matter experts.
• Translate strategic objectives into near-term deliverables and well-scoped engineering problems.
• Coordinate day-to-day engineering prioritization across customer needs and longer-term milestones.
• Own customer activation and use product analytics to improve feature adoption.
• Run rapid build-measure-learn loops and iterate using real user feedback.
• Prototype hands-on with AI tools before engineering implementation.
• Coordinate design and engineering through synchronized specifications, mocks, and tickets.

What You Will Bring

• At least 3 years of product management experience.
• B2B or enterprise SaaS experience is preferred.
• Prior hands-on software engineering experience is a major plus.
• Comfort working deeply in a complex regulated domain.
• Regulatory or energy experience is a plus.
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding tools sufficient to ship a working prototype.
• Experience running close, high-trust loops with design and engineering on lean teams.
• Strong communication, cross-team collaboration, bias to action, and a low-ego working style.

Working Approach

• The role expects practical delivery, favoring a scrappy first version over a perfect product requirements document.
• AI tools are used to prototype, learn new skills, and optimize day-to-day work output.

Work Location

• The role follows a hybrid work approach.
• The team gathers at its downtown Toronto office once a week, and candidates are expected to be able to join in person on those days.

Compensation and Benefits

• The estimated base salary range in Canada is CAD 120,000 to CAD 160,000.
• Most new hires join near the midpoint, with actual salaries varying by experience, skills, location, and business needs.
