The company develops AI systems that work with utility data to support safety, resilience, and efficiency in critical infrastructure.
The role
The AI Deployment Manager guides customers from a pilot or signed contract to regular, measurable use of Senpilot's regulatory agent.
The manager owns a portfolio of utility, consulting, and regulator accounts from first login through renewal.
The role combines strategic advising with hands-on work reviewing usage data, training users, helping with prompts and setup, and leading recurring check-ins and executive business reviews.
Customer deployment and adoption
- Own relationships and outcomes for regulatory accounts from onboarding through conversion, renewal, and long-term adoption.
- Agree on pilot use cases and success criteria, set up users, and help each user achieve a strong first result.
- Work on-site during high-stakes periods, including rate-case filings and team-wide rollouts, to resolve blockers and accelerate adoption.
- Train users across regulatory, engineering, finance, and customer service teams to write effective prompts and use the agent in daily work.
Enablement, account health, and product feedback
- Build playbooks, prompt libraries, documentation, and self-serve resources for ongoing account value.
- Monitor adoption, usage, value, and account health using data and direct customer feedback; partner with the commercial team on pilot conversion, extension, or closure.
- Relay customer quality issues and feedback to the product team, contribute to roadmap development, and communicate relevant product changes to customers.
- Identify opportunities to expand deployments into other Senpilot modules, including engineering and customer service.
What the employer is looking for
- Experience in hands-on account management, technical customer success, or implementation; high-growth tech experience is ideal, and management consulting or generalist experience is relevant.
- Strong communication and strategic planning, including managing pilots and rollouts, building trust, and engaging executives and users.
- Willingness to travel for on-site client engagements.
- Utility regulation, rate-case, regulatory filing, or utility/regulator consulting familiarity is relevant; alternatively, enthusiasm to learn the domain quickly.
- Customer empathy and the ability to uncover user pain points and help solve them.
- Track record of moving from problem to shipped implementation in ambiguous environments; comfort with technical detail and prioritization.
- Strong data analytics instincts and fluency with modern AI tools such as Claude or Codex.
Location and travel
- The team gathers at its downtown Toronto office up to three times a week when not travelling; the employer values the ability to join in person on those days.
- The role includes travel to client sites for activations, key milestones, conferences, and on-the-ground support.
Compensation and benefits
- Estimated base salary range in Canada is CAD 110,000–CAD 160,000; actual pay varies with experience, skills, location, and business needs.
- Benefits include equity, health coverage for the employee and dependents from day one, 20 vacation days, and five year-end flex days.
