Connexa Recruitment are working in partnership with an award-winning International Architectural Design practice who are looking for an Technical Manager / Lead Site Architect (Buildings Projects) in there Dubai office.

Job Summary:

The Technical Manager / Lead Site Architect is responsible for overseeing all architectural and technical aspects of building projects during the construction phase. This role ensures that design intent is maintained on-site, coordinates between stakeholders, resolves technical issues, and ensures compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Leadership & Coordination

• Act as the primary architectural representative on-site.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project managers.
• Lead site meetings related to architectural works.
• Ensure smooth communication between design office and construction teams.

2. Technical Oversight

• Review and approve shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with architectural design, specifications, and standards.
• Interpret drawings and provide technical guidance to site teams.
• Resolve design conflicts and technical issues in real-time.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to design.
• Conduct site inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and building codes.
• Review mock-ups and samples for approval.

4. Design Management

• Coordinate with design teams for revisions and updates.
• Manage RFIs (Requests for Information) and technical submittals.
• Ensure that all architectural changes are documented and approved.

5. Project Delivery

• Track progress of architectural works against project timelines.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support project management in achieving milestones and deadlines.

6. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Represent architectural discipline in project meetings.
• Provide technical reports and updates to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect (preferred, depending on country).
• 12+ years of experience in building projects.
• Strong experience in site supervision and technical coordination .
