About The Role

It Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, manage, and support IT team members in their day-to-day activities.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Oversee the maintenance, performance, and security of IT infrastructure.
• Ensure robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes are in place and regularly tested.
• Implement technology solutions that enhance system resilience and minimize downtime.
• Apply industry best practices and standards to reduce operational and security risks.

Software & Applications

• Manage software licensing, renewals, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor software performance and recommend improvements where appropriate.
• Identify technology-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Asset Management

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, warranties, licenses, and equipment lifecycle information.
• Establish and monitor processes for tracking new acquisitions, renewals, and asset disposals.

Budget & Vendor Management

• Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective procurement of technology solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Conduct periodic supplier reviews to ensure service quality and value for money.

It Service Delivery & Support

• Ensure the delivery of responsive, high-quality IT support services.
• Develop and maintain service processes aligned with agreed service levels.
• Communicate planned maintenance, service interruptions, and technology updates to stakeholders.
• Support business priorities by ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly.

Knowledge & Documentation Management

• Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge repositories.
• Ensure technical knowledge is captured and shared effectively across the team.

Technology Development & Innovation

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve business performance, security, and efficiency.
• Ensure business systems remain current, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Training & User Enablement

• Coordinate and deliver user training on core business systems and IT best practices.
• Promote effective use of technology across the organization.
• Support onboarding activities by ensuring new employees receive appropriate IT inductions and guidance.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in an IT management or senior IT leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and business systems.
• Experience managing IT budgets, vendors, and service providers.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience developing policies, procedures, and IT governance frameworks.
• Relevant IT certifications and qualifications are advantageous.
