Role Description
This is a part-time Technical Manager role based in Dubai in a hybrid arrangement, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility.
The Technical Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technical solutions that support advisory and long-term care services.
This role includes managing technical projects, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring systems and tools meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
The Technical Manager will provide technical support and guidance to staff, troubleshoot system issues, and collaborate on research and development initiatives to improve service delivery.
The role also involves monitoring technical performance metrics, documenting processes, and recommending enhancements aligned with organizational strategy and client needs.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable technical improvements.
- Proven team management and leadership abilities, including mentoring technical staff and coordinating cross-functional collaboration.
- Hands-on experience in technical support, including troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user assistance in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
- Background in research and development (R&D), with experience evaluating new technologies and implementing innovative technical solutions.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and delivering technical projects on time and within scope.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, healthcare IT) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with healthcare operations, data privacy and security standards, and regulatory requirements is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid, multicultural environment based in Dubai.
