Overview
- Manage and supervise all technical activities related to civil and architectural construction projects.
- Review and approve construction drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, and planning teams.
- Lead design coordination meetings and monitor design changes, RFIs, and technical clarifications.
- Review architectural and structural drawings to identify and resolve conflicts before construction.
- Monitor project progress from a technical perspective and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Evaluate construction methodologies and value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs and timelines.
- Ensure proper implementation of approved architectural finishes, materials, and construction techniques.
- Support tendering and pre-construction activities by reviewing technical requirements and project specifications.
- Liaise with authorities, consultants, and clients for approvals and technical submissions.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are updated and compliant with company procedures.
