Key Responsibilities
- Monitor GCP resources using Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Security Command Center; identify, analyze, and resolve alerts and disruptions.
- Troubleshoot compute, network, IAM, and storage services; manage Compute Engine instances and investigate network, firewall, VPN, and load-balancing issues.
- Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls; administer Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
- Perform operational tasks, health checks, and maintenance; provision resources using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
- Support landing-zone setup and project onboarding; configure VPCs, subnets, VPN, Interconnect, and load balancers.
- Monitor performance and optimize resource use and cost; configure dashboards, alerts, and logs.
- Analyze trends and recommend performance improvements; support high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management processes under ITIL; support Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud and understanding of ITIL.
- Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and VPN.
- Support capability across Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
