Role Overview
Provide global SAP Global Trade Services functional support and consulting to corporate and regional units.
Support global trade processes, embargo management, and denied-party screening for business partners.
Consulting and Solution Delivery
- Consult on SAP GTS authorizations, reports, jobs, table structures, new functionality, and system integration interfaces.
- Analyze customer requirements, estimate effort, and create functional specifications for business projects and continuous improvements.
- Create solution designs using SAP standard customizing and technical specifications delivered by development teams.
- Use SAP Solution Manager as the change management system.
Testing and Support
- Perform unit, system integration, and functional IT testing.
- Support user acceptance and regression testing, resolve defects, and support cutover and hypercare after go-live.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for requirements gathering and knowledge transfer.
- Provide third-level incident and service request support by analyzing and resolving issues.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and testing.
Experience and Qualifications
- Requires at least 7 years in an SAP GTS solution-based functional role.
- Requires a Business Administration or Informatics degree, or certified IT education with at least 10 years of IT process and ITIL experience.
- Requires practical IT service management experience, such as change, release, or application management.
- Requires SAP code debugging ability for low-level incident resolution.
- Requires SAP GTS Edition for HANA experience and integration knowledge with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Additional Capabilities
- Requires stakeholder communication and analytical skills.
- Requires Foreign Trade Zone handling within GTS, including material balancing.
