Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Create and run automated tests for web, API, and integrated enterprise applications; validate REST and SOAP APIs.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Test Salesforce CRM and nCino applications, including configurations, workflows, and integrations.
• Use AI tools to improve productivity and test coverage; integrate suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results and defects, collaborate with delivery teams, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to automation strategy, quality engineering practices, and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of quality engineering and test automation experience.
• Strong Java programming; hands-on Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD), and API testing expertise.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum; experience with Git or similar source control.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or related application testing experience is preferred.
• nCino implementation and integration experience, or knowledge of Salesforce objects, Apex, Lightning Components, and API integrations, is preferred.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, generative AI, AI-powered test automation, or intelligent test generation is preferred.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, are preferred.
• Banking, financial services, or wealth management domain experience is preferred.

Compensation

• Expected compensation ranges from CAD 77,000 to CAD 120,000; no pay cadence is stated.
