Technical Lead - DevSecOps

Job Purpose

Automation and Infrastructure

• Design, create, and optimize reusable GitLab CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
• Create reusable Terraform modules that follow internal best practices and security guidelines.
• Use Ansible for configuration management and automated server setup.

Containerization and Cloud Security

• Implement secure containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage Kubernetes networking, security, resource allocation, and Helm charts.
• Design secure infrastructure with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement encryption, IAM, and network security controls in cloud environments.

Incident Response and Collaboration

• Investigate and mitigate security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Work with security teams to identify, analyze, and patch vulnerabilities in pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate security from the beginning of the development lifecycle.
• Ensure infrastructure and applications meet compliance standards.

Documentation and Reporting

• Document DevOps processes, security procedures, and compliance reports.
• Provide accurate and timely security status reporting to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, monitoring, and logging tools.
• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, configuration management, cloud platforms, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Relevant DevOps certifications are desirable.

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of DevOps experience, including at least 2 years in a leading DevOps role.
