Role overview

BI delivery and modelling

• Support development of the BI interface across multiple stakeholders and internal teams.
• Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
• Oversee analysis and reporting model methodology and documentation; build tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards.
• Integrate BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics and API automation, and develop custom visuals.

Application support and governance

• Maintain BI applications, recommend enhancements, and develop strategies to improve BI application and tool adoption across the organization.
• Maintain system maintenance records for audits and compliance; identify cost-effective BI development projects and enhancements.
• Implement system updates and upgrades, resolve software issues, and conduct monthly end-user service reviews to maintain operational continuity.
• Liaise between product/solution management and end users, define BI quality standards, and support integration, testing, commissioning, and delivery milestones.
• Support reporting, policy compliance, audits, change management, automation needs, and reporting quality checks.

Experience and education

• Requires at least 6 years of business intelligence development experience.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, analytics, or a related field.
• UAE or Middle East experience is desirable; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Technical skills

• Requires hands-on Power BI expertise, including DAX, Power Query (M), data modelling, incremental load, RLS, and workspace management.
• Requires SQL proficiency and experience with large datasets, plus experience with Python and PySpark.
• Open data formats, Talend, Trino, and Apache Airflow are listed as familiar technologies; SAC experience is a plus.
• Experience with Agile delivery frameworks is required.
