Role

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and pipelines using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Develop agentic AI testing solutions, including LLM-driven test generation, self-healing test scripts, and autonomous exploratory agents.
• Build React component-level and end-to-end UI automation suites.
• Embed testability and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines with software engineers.
• Write maintainable, documented test code and automation utilities.
• Design REST/GraphQL API and backend test strategies for Node.js services, including contract, integration, and performance testing.
• Evaluate AI tools for test authoring, triage, and root-cause analysis; analyze test results, flaky tests, and incidents to improve automation.
• Mentor QA and engineering peers and participate in planning, code reviews, and design discussions.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Requires 3+ years as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or Software Engineer with a strong testing focus.
• Requires hands-on TypeScript and Node.js, React application testing, and experience with or strong interest in agentic AI concepts.
• Requires proficiency with a test automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest, or WebdriverIO.
• Requires API testing experience and working knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Docker.
• Requires understanding of unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Requires debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.

Preferred qualifications

• AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen, and Anthropic/OpenAI APIs are preferred.
• Prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, or fine-tuning for test use cases is preferred.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-based test execution grids are preferred.
• Performance/load testing tools, accessibility testing knowledge, open-source contributions, and ISTQB certification or equivalent are preferred.
